Who is responsible
Mayfair Appeals Limited is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. For privacy questions or requests, email Privacy@mayfairappeals.online.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide, including your email address, account details, claim or dispute facts, letter instructions, supporting descriptions, payment references and messages sent to us.
We also record limited technical and usage information needed to operate and improve the service, such as pages visited, checkout progress, a browser visitor identifier, timestamps and basic device or connection information.
How we use your information
We use your information to create requested letters, save claim submissions, confirm access, provide receipts and payment history, email secure letter-download links, answer support requests, prevent misuse and understand whether key parts of the service work.
We process this information to perform the service you request, meet legal obligations and pursue legitimate interests in security, administration and service improvement. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it at any time.
Payments and service providers
PayPal handles PayPal, card and eligible wallet payments on its own service. Mayfair Appeals receives transaction details needed to confirm your purchase but does not collect or store your full card number.
We use service providers for hosting, authentication, database services, transactional email, payment processing and automated letter generation. They process information only to provide those services under their own terms and applicable data-protection duties.
Cookies and local storage
The site uses essential browser storage to keep you signed in, remember dismissed notices, preserve claim progress and distinguish visits for aggregate purchase-funnel measurement. We do not describe these essential functions as advertising cookies.
Retention and security
Secure letter-download links expire after 30 days. Other records are retained only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, manage transactions, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet legal or accounting obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards and HTTPS in transit. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction on, or a portable copy of your personal information. You may also object to certain processing or complain to your local data-protection authority.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some information may be retained where the law requires it or where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
International use and children
The service is available to users in several countries, so information may be processed outside your home country with appropriate contractual or legal safeguards where required. The service is not directed to children under 18.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when the service or legal requirements change. The latest version will appear on this page with its effective date.
